Why Being "Weird" Is Much Better Than Being "Normal"?

In my own experience, I liked being called weird at some point. Why? Because at least I know I am unique and different from others. And it's OK. That's what makes us "individual" in the first place. What's the point of trying to fit in if it will only cause limitations of your own potential. You have greatness in you. It is inside of you. And you know it. You're just afraid of showing it off because we're living in a world of criticism. And most of us are afraid to be criticized. You think that people will hate you or misunderstand your or even call you weird. We do not need people like that in our lives. You don't need to prove them anything, they don't deserve that. You need to prove it to yourself. So let it out. The world needs it. Most "weird" people are those
who have been known and recognized in our society.

At first I was just like any other people that was afraid to be criticized at some point of my life. I wanted to feel "normal" and fit in to the majority. Who would want to be an outcast anyway? Honestly I've been there. But as the time goes by. The more I was exposed to different kinds of people, the more I realized that the world doesn't revolve at one perspective. I've tried being with different kind of people, different kinds of beliefs and culture. I realized that the world is much bigger than what I thought it was.

If you're in a current situation wherein you feel that being where you are right now is your only place in life and you can't imagine being outside of that zone, you're wrong. You always have a choice. You can always explore and try something new that will help you improve yourself, your talent, and skills which will later on make you feel more accepted and will finally drive your willpower to pursue your passion. There is no excuse to that if it really matters to you.

I bet you already heard this a million times and I'll say it again, "Stop caring what other people think". Honestly it worth nothing thinking ways on how to please people in your life. Because it is impossible. You can't please everyone. That's a fact. Just be YOU, and the right people will eventually love you for being your true self.

DO NOT FORCE YOUR SELF TO FIT IN, IF YOU ARE BORN TO STAND OUT.

Being weird is okay. Why? Because it only means you are being YOU. You enjoy the things that you love, whether it is accepted by people around you or not. It means that you're embracing your uniqueness and living the life in your own terms. You visualize your thoughts of what is "reality" for you. You created that reality, and it is totally fine. Because Reality is a perception. Your "reality" may not be their reality.

Do not try to be somebody you're not. It is a sign of disrespecting yourself. You're born to be unique. Nobody in this world is exactly like you. You're one in a billion people in this Earth. How awesome is that? Be different. Embrace it because life, in general, doesn't limits us to view the world as a one big NORM. It is an aspect of human life. Set your own standards. Set your own rules. It can be viewed in so many different ways. It can be enjoyed by anyone, lived by everyone, and appreciated by all. It is beautiful and full of adventure. The next time you are called as "Weird" be glad and consider that as a compliment. So just be "weird" and and enjoy being a Human.
